{Real Party} Sweet Soiree

Last year around Valentine's Day, I invited a few of my girl friends over for a little dinner party. I wanted to create a simple yet elegant party that was affordable by purchasing store bought supplies and sweets.

The colors for the party were red, black and white along with a damask pattern.

Red ribbon and black tulle were added to damask pillow boxes to add some "pop" which were filled with hot tamales candies.

Red ribbon and black tulle were added to jars filled with cookies to add a hint of color.

Red velvet cupcakes....yum!

I added chocolate abstracts that I made as toppers for the cupcakes.

I used paperie items from my awesome paperie friends Kim of The Tom Kat Studio & Kristy of Posh Pixel Design Studio
