{diy Tutorial} Spring Candy Wreath

Are you feeling a little crafty?  Our latest tutorial is really easy, extremely affordable and a clever way to decorate for Spring.  With just a few supplies, you will have a beautiful springtime wreath that's perfect for Easter and especially sweet!

Supplies

ribbon

candy

12 inch Styrofoam wreath

hot glue gun

Step 1

Begin gluing your candy in place on the inside circumference of your wreath.

Step 2

Continue gluing your candy in a circular pattern around the wreath.

Steps 3 and 4

Continue adding candy until the inner and outer edges are covered with candy.

You are almost done.

 

Add a matching ribbon and hang your wreath.

Here's another fun way to use your candy wreath.

Storing your wreath
Wrap your wreath in paper and place on a flat surface.  Keep your wreath in a cool and dry area.

{New to the Shop} Hoppy Easter Collection

 Can you believe that Easter is around the corner?  I wanted to create a collection that was fun and that popped with bright colors to celebrate the season of Spring.  A few weeks ago when I was browsing the dollar bin at Target, I found chevron patterned pencils in pretty pastel colors that I thought would make for a pretty Easter design.  Then, when I was at the mall awhile back the Baby Gap window display immediately caught my attention with its bright pastel colors.  It consisted of a color palette made up of yellow, orange, bright pink, light pink and turquoise.  I used the pencils and bright colors as my inspiration in designing our newest Easter collection.

 

Print on heavy card stock, matte photo paper or 8.5 x 11 full size label sheets to make stickers. Cut to make squares or use 1 7/8”, 2”, 2.25" circle and scallop circle paper punches.
