Color Palette Love - Pretty in Pink

The moment that I came across this beautiful kitchen, I knew that I had to pin it on my "Kitchens I Love" board on Pinterest.  If I could ever have a vacation home, it would be a small cottage on the beach and this vintage style kitchen designed by Tracey Rapisardi would be perfect.  I love the fresh pastel colors which give the space such a charming feel.  The soft pinks, blues and yellow would be so pretty for a baby shower don't think?

Color Palette Love - Classic Brown + Red

Being the mom of two girls, I am surrounded by all things pink and frilly.  My days are filled with My Little Ponies, Barbies and unicorns to name just a few.  When it comes to looking for the perfect color palette for a boy, I often find myself looking on Pinterest for inspiration.  I recently came across this modern and classic designed room that is perfect for boys of all ages.  Bands of rich chocolate brown that are accented with contrasting pops of red and a soft chambray blue.  This color combination is sporty and bold and one that is fitting for a baby shower or birthday party.

Color Palette Love - Chic Pastels + Gold

The moment I saw this necklace I thought it was eye-catching.  I love the beautiful combination of pastel colors along with the gold.  A color palette that could easily be worn with a casual outfit or dressed up for a night out.  I think that the same holds true when using these colors for a party.  Pretty colors for a bridal shower or a chic evening get together.

Color Palette Love - Sophisticated Pink + Blue

The moment I came across this photo, I knew that I would need to save it for when the time came that my youngest daughter would transition from her nursery to a big girl's room.  The design would be perfect for young girls but one that adults would like too.  I love the great fabrics and color combination used to create different tones and textures using similar colors.  When I think of incorporating this color palette for a party, I think it would be perfect for a gender reveal baby shower.  Don't you think?

Color Palette Love - Coral + Pink

Today I am sharing with your my second weekly color palette.  Who doesn't love a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers especially one that pops with amazing colors?  I recently started a "Beautiful Flowers" board on Pinterest and the bouquet in this week's palette was designed by Ella Bella Floral.  I love the different shades of pink and corals with the touch of blue.  Isn't it simply gorgeous?

Color Palette Love - Rustic Neutrals + Pink

I love color! One of my favorite parts when designing a new party collection is dreaming up a new color palette to use.  I find so many beautiful photos for inspiration and love pinning them on my Pinterest boards and love sharing this inspiration with you.  Having said that, I am going to be sharing weekly color palettes to inspire your party planning, events and projects.  Today's photo is from the December/January 2010 issue of House Beautiful magazine.  I love the neutral tones and pops of pink and am using the designer Jill Brinson's family room as inspiration as I redecorate my office.  The rustic feel and Moroccan touches are simply beautiful!
