{Party in the Works} Let's Set Sail Party!

It's that time of year again.  As summer draws closer, Annabelle and Madeleine's birthdays draw closer and that means coming up with a new theme for their party.  The girls had all sorts of ideas that changed on a daily basis.  From a rainbow party, to a unicorn party, to an Ariel party and so on.  I was having a hard time keeping up and wasn't sure if we were ever going to find a theme that they both could agree on.  We mentioned to the girls that we booked a trip to the beach to the Caribbean for our summer trip, and since then they  are all about having a summer beach themed birthday party.  And so the design for their invitation began.

My mother-in-law had given the girls a skirt and dress from The Children's Place for Easter that had such a fun color palette that consisted of a bubblegum pink, fuchsia, sunny yellow and navy.   From the moment that I saw the skirt and dress, I thought that at some point I would love to include these colors for an upcoming party.  I decided to use this color palette for the printables for their party.

Here is a peek of the invitation I created.

Looking forward to sharing ideas and inspiration I find when planning Annabelle and Madeleine's party over the next couple of weeks with you!
