As I was looking for a present for my friend Sarah when she had her baby girl, I came across the most adorable website called Tiny Sprouts owned by Tracey.  I ordered one of the newborn gift sets and had it personalized with Sarah's baby's name.  Every new mommy loves to see their sweet baby's name on gifts right? Tiny Sprouts offers the cutest hand - embroidered products from onesies, welcome home outfits, accessories and more!

For those who have their own business or tossing the idea of starting one, you will really be inspired by Tracey's story. 

Tracey got started by searching for something handmade (before the Etsy era) for her friend's new baby. She was unable to find what she was looking for so she made her a onesie with her baby's name on it.  Her friends told her to start selling them but she was too nervous & didn't know where to start! Several months later she got over that & started. She had a website built & chose "tiny sprouts" as the name. She began to advertise in Pregnancy Magazine and her business grew from there. 

This past October, Tracey celebrated her five year anniversary! "I have learned a lot in the past five years. I think that is with any business or job though. I have been able to quit my full time job & focus solely on tiny sprouts. I love not hearing the alarm in the morning!"

What inspires you? Photography. It is amazing the talent of so many. A picture can say so much. My other inspiration is my son, Cole. He inspires me to be the best person I can be. I want him to grow up having a strong, encouraging mother. Motherhood has changed me for the better. It is the greatest job next to tiny sprouts.

Advice to others? If you are thinking of starting your business & have something to offer the world that you are passionate about, go for it!  Etsy is such a wonderful place to begin. Doing what you love is the most rewarding job!

 100% interlock cotton is used for almost all of Tiny Sprouts products. It is the thickest, the softest and the best.
