When I was decorating my daughter's nursery, I wanted to create a very serene and soothing room for her. I chose lavender and light blue as the color palette. When looking for an art print I found the sweetest creation by Ashley of Pure Innovation. The adorable birdie print was the perfect touch for Madeleine's nursery and one of my favorite items in her room.

How you started?

Hmmm that's a good question! I would have to say I started shortly after my first son was born. I am an artist and graphic designer who quickly learned I was desperately in need of an outlet to be creative while at home...and I decided to open my online shop and at home studio. I tend to have that proverbial fire in my belly and with it, that innate desire to create. I started, and then stopped...two more times after that, as two more children were added to the crazy mix. The journey in motherhood and that gigantic balancing act called life can be challenging, to say the least. I think I finally fell into my niche, in January of last year. I guess you can say it's been full speed ahead since then! (When I'm not changing dirty diapers, that is...)

What inspires you?

Everything. {ha!} Color. Photography. Fashion. Beautiful Interiors. Unusual combinations of texture and color. Fabrics. Paintings. My own children. Magazines and Book covers. Shoes. Well written pieces. Anthropologie window displays.
